The Blackwood River is one of the best houseboat locations in Australia. Canoeing, kayaking, fishing and boating in protected waterways. For the bird enthusiasts, look out for migratory waders (November to March). You may see the Black Bittern, Pelicans, Knots, Plovers, Spoonbills, Fairy Turns!

The houseboats are located at 13685 Bussell Highway Augusta WA. You leave your car at our private marina, cruise up to Alexandra Bridge, return your vessel to Houseboat Base and collect your vehicle on departure.
Please call beforehand and make an appointment if you wish to view the houseboats. We are not open to the general public and its a long way to come if the boats are not available.
