Local bush inspires glassblower extraordinaire
The bush along the lower reaches of the Blackwood River has been inspiration for local artisan

Environment Research Group uncovers 40 orchid species in Augusta!

After extensive study the Environment Research Group Augusta (ERGA) have revealed

over 220 species of plants, including 40 orchid species - including

55 species of birds, 7 resident mammal populations and many frogs, reptiles, insects and

other tiny invertebrates. In winter more than 90 species of fungi are spectacular!
